Business Class: How old is MiaDora restaurant? How has it changed over time?
Andrian Buruiana: The MiaDora brand appeared on the Moldovan market in 2001. We started as a 170 m² bar and restaurant with daily activity. Since 2006 we have specialized exclusively in events. Until 2015 we carried out nine major renovations. The changes have been enormous. Now the internal area is 2000 m² and the surrounding area is 3000 m². Since then we have made it a rule to introduce something new every year.
Regarding the team, an immense amount of work has been done over these years. We probably needed the first ten years to fully understand the industry. The MiaDora team is now made up of experienced professionals who know their field perfectly.
Business Class: MiaDora is a recognized brand. What do you think helped it reach this popularity?
Andrian Buruiana: We have 20 years of daily work in the industry behind us, we grew from a small place into one of the best-known restaurants in the country, 90% of employees (45 in total) are trained professionally here at MiaDora. I don't even remember how many events we organized — weddings alone numbered over 1,500.
Business Class: What is the main feature of the MiaDora restaurant?
Andrian Buruiana: Of course, we pay great attention to the care and arrangement of the courtyard — it has long been the calling card of MiaDora restaurant. The cuisine and service is another feature that helps us live up to our clients' expectations. Every member of the MiaDora team is exactly in the right place.
Business Class: How would you describe your clients?
Andrian Buruiana: First of all, our clients are our guests. MiaDora is often chosen for weddings. We enthusiastically support even the most ambitious ideas, actively participate in long discussions and meticulous planning. I believe MiaDora restaurant is chosen by those who want to be closer to nature and appreciate beautiful views.
